FISKMÖ is a joint project of the universities of Helsinki and Turku and Kites (an umbrella organization for the language sector in Finland). The project staff from universities are experts in computational linguistics, corpus collection, and machine translation, while the Kites staff provide expertise on the Finnish language industry and the translation sector as a whole.

University of Helsinki

Jörg Tiedemann is the professor of Language Technology at the Department of Digital Humanities. Mikko Aulamo is a research assistant at the same department. Ksenia Eskola is a doctoral student at the Doctoral Programme in Language Studies.

University of Turku

Filip Ginter is an assistant professor of Language and Speech Technology at the Department of Future Technologies. Jenna Kanerva is a doctoral student of Language and Speech Technology at the Department of Future Technologies.

Kites

Niko Papula is the CEO of Multilizer and vice chairman of the board of Kites. Tommi Nieminen is a freelance translator and translation technology specialist.
