If you can’t see any relevance in learning languages, then you are not likely to be an active and effective learner. Obviously, it is hard to foresee the future but there are not many contexts in Finland, or elsewhere, where languages are not important in working life. Opening the door to the world of languages might also make you see their potential relevance for your professional life: the future is unpredictable and a new language or, say, better skills in English might turn out to be a valuable effort.
