World eBook Library is a collection of over 2 million eBooks for historical research in humanities, sciences and technology. The vast collection features among many others digitised eBook editions of out-of-print books originally published by top ranking universities.

New eBook collections – Cambridge Books Online

The library has acquired 543 new eBooks published  by Cambridge University Press. Cambridge Books Online can be found in Nelli, and the eBooks are also catalogued in  Helka.

These recently acquired eBook titles represent various scientific fields  – also some high demand text books on City Center Campus are included –  and can be browsed by subject in Cambridge Books Online. Subjects are:

In Cambridge Books Online below the quick search box, you find a link to “Advanced Search” where you can specify your search by product group and/or various search parameters, and limit your search to titles you have access to.

New eBooks from Elsevier

The library has acquired 411 new eBooks on various scientific fields published in 2012-13 by Elsevier. The eBooks most used during the year will be acquired permanently in the end of the year. The books can be found through HELKA.

The library also acquired eBooks published in  2011 by Elsevier: these eBooks were accessible through Helka during the last year and the books most used  were acquired by the library (see titles here).
