We have a special participation deal for students of the University of Helsinki and Aalto university (both degree and exchange students):

With a lower participation fee of 75 €, you can join the full symposium program, including the following:

• full eight days of academic and free time program
• lunches when not held in a cafeteria with student prices (3 days)
• dinners when part of the symposium program (at least 1 evening)
• an official certificate of participation

The participation fee is due in one week of the approval decision. Costs to cover by the participants themselves include public transport costs within Helsinki and lunches in cafeterias with Kela supported student price (4 days).

Because our symposium is organized in collaboration with the universities, we are able to make the lectures public for interested students of UH and Aalto throughout the symposium week within the limits of available space. However, the workshops and free time program are reserved for symposium participants only.

Application requirements

Applicants have to be university students (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD). The applicants should have either a study field related to environment or experience of the subjects through work, volunteering, or other projects.

We will accept eligible applicants on the first come first served basis. There are altogether only 16 places available (divided equally between UH and Aalto students) so be fast to secure yours!
