We have extended the application period and there is still room in two host organisation groups: Akava and Alfa Mobility. Read more about the organisations below. The groups are filled in order of registration, so act fast and send your application as soon as possible!
Application period is open until Wednesday 22nd of November.
Programme duration: 1st February to 25th of April 2024.
Who can apply: All international master’s degree students and international doctoral researchers at the University of Helsinki. Finnish students who have done their undergraduate or graduate degree abroad may also apply.

1. Alfa Mobility (Relocation services, global mobility, immigration and visa)
In 2023 Alfa Mobility is the leading Nordic mobility service provider with global reach. It’s main goal is to offer sustainable global mobility for people and businesses. The company provides many complementary services like HR-consulting, expense management, warehousing in Nordics, and outbound assignment management around the world.
2. Akava, the Conferedetation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff (Labour market unions, impacting social and political decisions, advocacy work, labour rights and legislation)
Akava has 36 affiliates with altogether some 600 000 unionised members working as employees, entrepreneurs and self-employed professionals in either the public or private sector. Akava is involved in preparing legislation for the labor market, unemployment and social security, and the pension system, which are part of the safety net of the working life.

3.Otava Oppimisen palvelut , Learning Services (Group already full 20.11.)
UNITalent serves as a platform that enables you to connect with organisations that operate in Finland. During this 3-month programme, organisations act as hosts for selected groups of participants, with a focus on sharing knowledge related to their respective fields and offering possibilities for networking.
It has come to our attention that there has been a technical error with the application confirmation messages from Lyyti. As a result of this some of the automatic confirmation messages have not been send after the application form has been filled in. Today we have resent the link to a personal confirmation message to all those who have applied for the programme so far.
If you have received a confirmation message from Lyyti while applying OR from the coordination team on Monday November 13th, you can rest assured – your application has been received.
If you did not receive any confirmation message from Lyyti while applying OR from the Career Services, please contact us at careerservices@helsinki.fi.
