Activities

We organize a wide range of activities every year based on the suggestions of our participants and you are most welcome to share your ideas about the kind of events you think would be fun! Below are some of the events we arrange actively throughout the year.

1.

Our monthly coffee meet-ups are organized once every month for students and staff to spend sometime chatting about almost anything while sipping on coffee/tea in a relaxing atmosphere! This event is open to everyone and you can bring your friends along. The event is usually held at the Physicum 3rd floor (sandbox) and it is held on a random day every month. The participants also enjoy free tea/coffee/snack and board games while socializing with others.

2.

The annual Spring festival is funded by the faculty and aimed to bring together globally-minded students and staff of Kumpula campus. This event highlights internationalism promoted by the administration of Kumpula campus and attempts to cover all members of the campus (Finnish and Non-Finnish students and staff). The activities include quiz, music, games, dance and a short presentation about Kumpula student organizations. The event requires participants to register and registration is free of cost. Some light food and drinks is served to all registered participants.

3.

Who doesn’t love chocolate? Yes, we have plenty of chocolate lovers in our squad and every year we head to Fazer factory for an hour long tour and taste the goodness of famous Fazer products.
