Come and join this seminar! After the seminar you will understand the publisher’s and editor’s perspective – what makes the distinction between an accepted or rejected journal article. You will get practical manuscript advice and learn about the topics in the review process. There will be time for your questions too.
The seminar topics:
– An introduction to journal publishing
– The review and editorial process – what are the rejection rates and how is the peer review process undertaken.
– Practical tips for authors – how to use resources available through your library to evaluate journals and research areas, along with the complete research cycle; from discovery to bibliography.
– Author ethics – How to ensure that your work remains ethical and examples of unethical behaviour.
