Handbook of Chemistry and Physics – 94th edition now available
The 94th edition of the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics has been published.
From the Preface:
The 94th Edition of the Handbook includes new tables as well as major updates and expansions. A new series highlighting the achievements of some of the leading figures in chemistry and physics has also been initiated. This edition and succeeding editions will provide biographical information, a list of major achievements, and notable quotations attributed to each of the renowned chemists and physicists.
The following new tables have been added to the 94th edition:

SpringerLink My Copy –service allows library patrons with Helsinki University ID to order a personal, printed-on-demand softcover edition of an eBook for EUR 24.99 (including shipping and handling). Helsinki University staff and students can order MyCopy books with their own credit cards. The book will also need to be part of the Helsinki University Library’s licenced eBook package(s).

A comprehensive database of plant type specimens and complementary content for the study of plant life.

UNESCO is championing Open Access for its DIgital Publications!
Starting from July 2013, hundreds of downloadable digital UNESCO publications will be available to users through a new Open Access Repository with a multilingual interface. All new publications will be released with an open license.
New Dictionaries: Finnish-English Dictionary and Finnish-Swedish Dictionary
SanomaPro Suomi-Englanti sanakirja is an up-to-date (2012) and extensive electronic dictionary with 103,000 headwords and 103,000 examples of usage.
SanomaPro Suomi-Ruotsi sanakirja is based on two extensive dictionaries: Suomi-ruotsi-suursanakirja and Ruotsi-suomi suursanakirja.
All Wittgenstein Collections in Past Masters available during May
Until the end of May it is possible to take pleasure in reading all Wittgenstein collections in Past Masters database. Normally we have access only to Collected Works and Letters and Lectures.

Trial: Justis & JustCite (-30.4.)
Justis database is an online library of UK, Irish, EU and international case law dating back to 1163 and legislation from 1235.
JustCite database contains a multi-jurisdictional citator and legal search engine covering UK statutes, and cases from the Law Reports, Weekly Law Reports, All England Law Reports and Lloyds Law Reports from 1950 onwards.
