The research project ”Young people and sexual harassment”:

The purpose of the research project “Young people and sexual harassment” is to collect and present young people’s views on sexual harassment. The project aims to produce knowledge on what sexual harassment looks like from young people’s perspectives, what it means to young people and how it is visible in young people’s lives. The project is also interested in differences between young people, and how the public discussions around the topic, including social media activities around it, appear from young people’s perspectives.

The research invites young people (15-29 year olds) to participate in the study. You can participate via this form , by getting in touch to schedule an interview via Zoom (see the contact information below), or by taking part in a workshop built around shared discussion on the topic.

The research is conducted by postdoctoral researcher Satu Venäläinen, who works in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Helsinki. See the researcher profile here.
