The University of Helsinki Career Services offers career skills training
during spring semester 2014 at the Centre Campus.

What is career planning? How do I market my knowledge and skills? What are the building blocks of a good job application or a CV? How to be successful at a job interview?

The Curriculum for Career course consists of four 3-hour training sessions, and individual work between classes. The course can be completed as a 1 or 2 credit course, depending on the amount of individual assignments. Please negotiate with your faculty/department about the credits if you plan to include the course in your degree. Career Services
cannot register credits.

Training sessions are open for all the University of Helsinki degree students and staff. The course language is English.

Wed 19.3.: Finnish labour market practices
Wed 26.3.: Application documents
Wed 9.4..: The interview process and course reflection
In addition to the training sessions, the course will include individual
assignments.

All the training sessions are on Wednesdays from 14.15 to 17.00 (2-5pm) at
sali 7, University Main Building (Fabianinkatu 33).
