Our research team is currently searching for examples of media organizations that have tried to break free from platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
We have already found some cases, but now we need your help. Do you know an organization that has decided to abandon social media completely, pause their activities on platforms or maybe quit advertising on some social media channels?

In the Road to Freedom -research project, we explore deplatformisation as a concept on a continuum from counterbalancing the dependence on platforms to outright decoupling.
To give you an example of deplatformisation, here are two cases that are already on our list:

- New Zealand publisher Stuff hits pause on all Facebook activity as it reassesses its relationship with the social media giant
