Reassessing Cold War Europe, edited by Sari Autio-Sarasmo and Katalin Miklóssy, presents a comprehensive reassessment of Europe in the Cold War period, 1945–1991. Contrary to popular belief, it shows that relations between East and West were based not only on confrontation and mutual distrust, but also on collaboration. The book includes Niklas Jensen-Eriksen’s article “CoCom and neutrality: Western export control policies, Finland and the Cold War, 1949–1958.” More information on the book.
