Katja Tikka is a former assistant of the project, and is now in the beginning of her doctoral studies in legal history at the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki. Her study focuses on early modern trading companies and their entrepreneurial organization in Sweden’s economical, legislative and governmental progress. In this project Tikka is specializing on the development of commercial legislation in tar and salvation companies in the 17th and 18th centuries.
