University of HelsinkiOur team together with the HY+ has won two tender competitions about organizing continuing education. The customer in both of these tender competitions is Traficom – the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency, which is very eager to develope the organization’s overall knowledge and capability in GIS and geoinformatics. Both tender competitions are roughly around 20 000 – 25 000 € each. Last year we won a tender competition to arrange a basic course for GIS for them. Now we are organizing an advanced course for those who continue to develope their skills further from the basic course. In addition, we are now organizing more advanced course about Python programming and automating GIS processes. HY+ is a university owned enterprise that develope and sell education services and continuing education packages for customers.
