We organised a 2-day symposium on December 1-2, 2016 within the framework of BAULT – a research community on Building And Using Language Technology. Links to slides and projects are added to the website of the symposium.
Miikka Silfverberg is defending his PhD thesis in language technology on Saturday, October 22 at 10 AM. The public defenes will take place at the University of Helsinki.

The title of the thesis is “Morphological Disambiguation using Probabilistic Sequence Models”
The opponent is professor Joakim Nivre (Uppsala University, Sweden) and the custos is professor Jörg Tiedemann (University of Helsinki). The language of the defense will be English.
