The fourth and fifth COHU dialogue events focused on the particular problems of each company separately. We were happy to see how in just a few meetings the atmosphere had become warm and trusting. Both the researchers and the business people felt safe to express their opinions and critical thoughts, and the meetings were filled with a supportive “we” spirit.
Enter with an open mind. That is a key principle we started with when we asked researchers and business people to take part in a co-creation project. We’re glad to report that half-way through the dialogue process this principle of open minds is alive and well. Continue reading
The COHU participants met for the second time at the Radisson Blu Royal in Kamppi, Helsinki on 5 April. In this second dialogue, we wanted to dig deeper and look for a joint denominator in the problems the companies were facing. We got rid of tables, sat close to one another in a circle and let our ideas fly.
First there was intrigued confusion. A group of researchers and business people from various fields chatting away while getting their morning coffees. For the most part they didn’t know the others, but they all knew they shared a professional interest to learn to speak with each other. Continue reading
