Use according to an agreement

If you have received right to use copyright protected material through an agreement you must use the material in accordance with the terms of the agreement. Agreements may be more restrictive than the exceptions in the act and the creator may also give more extensive user rights. See, however, also Use of databases and Use of computer programmes. The Copyright Act contains compulsory provisions which cannot be bypassed in an agreement.

If the terms of using the material provide that all users must adhere to the terms, you have to take care that all users accept the terms of the agreement in writing.
