Education

A primary focus of the Center is to facilitate and encourage not only  academic collaboration between Finnish, European and international scholars of Chinese law and legal culture, but also the legal education of university students. A guiding philosophy of the Center is that students are an important part of the legal community, key agents in promoting both Chinese and Finnish legal research, and are critical in contributing to the future collaboration and exchange between the two countries.

The Center’s member institutions have been organizing education for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as doctoral candidates.  They also support doctoral students conducting research on Chinese law. The Center has organized networking events and seminars where younger researchers can also build connections with other researchers in the field.
