HYYn kehitysyhteistyövaliokunta järjestää Sambia-teemaisen illanvieton, jossa on mahdollisuus tutustua lähemmin hankkeeseen ja sen aiheeseen alan asiantuntijoiden siivittämänä. Klo. 18.00 alkaen Rydmanissa (Kaivotalo, Kaivokatu 10 A, 9. kerros).

Illan aikana Hilkka Vuorenmaa Väestöliitolta pitää esityksen seksuaali- ja lisääntymisterveyden haasteista kehitysmaissa ja saamme kuulla myös sambialaisen tasa-arvoasiantuntijan Mwila Agatha Zazan puheenvuoron aiheesta. Lisäksi katsomme yhdessä BBC:n kehitysmaiden äitiyskuolleisuutta käsittelevän dokumentin: ”Kuolleet äidit eivät itke”.

Iltamat ovat myös mahtava tilaisuus tutustua kehy-valiokunnan toimintaan. Tule siis mukaan katsastamaan toimintaamme!

SYL´s development cooperation committee organizes a Zambia themed evening where there is a change to take a closer look on the theme of the day with the help of experts.

During the evenin Hilkka Vuorenmaa from The Family Federation presents  the challenges that developing countries are facing on sexual and reproductive health issues and Zambian gender expert Mwila Agatha Zaza will also takes the floor to discuss about the issue. In addition we will watch BBC´s documentary about maternal mortality in developmental countries called: “Dead mums don´t cry”.

This evening is also a great opportunity to get to know development cooperation committees´s work and people. So please join us on Wednesday!
