Tervetuloa torstaina 17.10. klo 18 eteenpäin kuuntelemaan luentoa englantilaisesta olutkulttuurista ja pubeista! Akateeminen Olutseura toivottaa tilaisuuteen tervetulleiksi kaikki kiinnostuneet!
Englantilainen oluthuone The Pullman Bar ja heidän upea kabinettitilansa, missä tilaisuus pidetään, löytyy Helsingin rautatieaseman asemarakennuksen toisesta kerroksesta.
Luennolle on varattu aikaa 2,5 tuntia. Tilaisuus on vapaamuotoinen – luentoa seuraamaan saa tulla ja mennä vapaasti. Keskustelu ja kysymysten esittäminen missä vaiheessa tahansa on kannatettavaa!
Puhujaksi saamme aiheeseen harrastuneisuutensa kautta perehtyneen Vesa Saarinen. Vesa kiertää Britannian Heritage Pubeja haaveenaan vierailla niistä jokaisessa. Kokemusta ja tietoa niin pubeista kuin myös niiden oluista ja historiasta on siten kertynyt.
Pullmanin laajasta valikoimasta osallistujat voivat valita monenlaista olutherkkua, erityisesti ravintola valikoitui aiheeseen sopivan real ale -hanan vuoksi!

Welcome to Academic Beer Society’s event on Thursday 17.10. 6 pm onward to learn about British pub culture and beers! The event is open for everyone interested!
English-style pub The Pullman Bar and their charming private compartment, where the event will be held, is located at Helsinki Railway Stations 2nd floor.
Sharing his knowledge with us, we have Heritage pub and beer culture enthusiast Vesa Saarinen. He has taken great interest in Heritage Pubs and he is on a mission to visit them all. Hence, he has gathered vast experience and knowledge about the topic.
The duration of the lecture is 2,5 hours. The gathering is informal, you are welcome to attend and leave whenever you feel so. Also discussion and questions are most welcome anytime!
From Pullman’s vast and tasty selection we recommend to get to know speciality only available in few pubs in Helsinki region – the Real Ale!
Academic Beer Society, the organizer, welcomes all to join! It is possible to host the event in English, the presentation text will be in Finnish however.
