The Department of Chemistry has produced an extensive video lecture series in cooperation with the Chemical Industry Federation. The series, focusing on legislation and regulation of work practices, will be used as course material in the Master’s programme, but is also freely available for companies and other educational institutions on the department’s website .
The Chemicals and legislation project is an excellent example of how expertise from the working life can be integrated into the university studies through videos. As a new video studio will be opened in Kumpula soon, this type of cooperation can be expanded.
