Knowledge assignments in Finnish upper secondary schools

One of the research questions in our ARONI study focuses on the type and nature of knowledge assignments in Finnish upper secondary schools. The first results were presented and discussed in EARLI 2017 conference. The final study is still “under construction”, but already in EARLI presentation, in conclusions, one major result was discussed: the exactly same course can be conducted very differently. The national curriculum suggests contents but not the pedagogy!
