ISHA Helsinki is organizing for the third time the Cheap & Dirty pubcrawl in Kallio in
27.3.2012. The idea is basically to go around Kallio’s fine and not so fine bars with
merry and international company. We will gather at S-market Sörnäinen at 18 pm, be there! The more accurate list of bars will be coming about a week before the happening.

ISHA-Helsinki ry:n sääntömääräinen vuosikokous järjestetään 25.1.2012 klo 17.00 Marxissa (Mannerheimintie 5 A, 3.krs.). Kokouksessa valitaan järjestön hallitus ja muita toimihenkilöitä seuraavalle kaudelle tammikuu 2012-tammikuu 2013. Kaikki historia-alojen opiskelijat ovat hyvin tervetulleita.

Kokouksessa valitaan uusi hallitus (jossa ainakin puheenjohtaja, varapuheenjohtaja, sihteeri sekä rahastonhoitaja) sekä muut toimihenkilöt. Halukkaat voivat asettua ehdolle kokouksen aikana ja valinta suoritetaan äänestyksellä, jossa jokaisella jäsenellä on yksi ääni. Mikäli haluat lisätietoja ISHA-Helsingin hallituksessa toimimisesta älä epäröi ottaa yhteyttä allekirjoittaneeseen tai ISHA-Helsingin hallituslistalle (isha-hallitus_at_helsinki.fi). Hallituksessa toimiminen ei vaadi aiempaa kokemusta ja tarvittaessa apua on aina saatavilla.

Muistutuksena vielä, että ISHA (International Students of History Association) on kansainvälinen historianopiskelijoiden järjestö, joka järjestää toimintaa ja seminaareja useissa eri maissa useita kertoja vuodessa. ISHA-Helsinki on yksi ISHA:n aluejaostoista. Mikäli olet kiinnostunut kansainvälisestä toiminnasta niin ulkomailla kuin Suomessa liity ihmeessä mukaan!

ISHA-Helsinki’s annual general meeting will be held on the 25th of January 2012 at 5pm in Marx (New Student Union Building A, 3rd floor). During the meeting the new board of ISHA-Helsinki will be chosen. Any history student interested in becoming a member of the board is welcome to stand for a position in the meeting. New board members will be chosen by voting. For more information, feel free to contact maria.temmes_at_helsinki.fi or isha-hallitus_at_helsinki.fi.

In honor of the ISHA people coming via Helsinki before the Turku Seminar, we are organising a bar-tour of Saturday the 24th and a hang-around evening on Sunday the 25th.

On Saturday we meet at 7 pm in the Bar Mascot (Neljäs linja 2) and on Sunday at 5 pm in Beauvoir, on the third floor of the New Student Union Building. Welcome!

ISHA’s Autumn Seminar will take place in Turku, Finland from the 26th of September to the 3rd of Octobre. It’s a great possibility to get involved in ISHA as the event takes place just next door!

The application period is taking place NOW, from the 25th of July to the 3rd of August, so surf to http://isha2011turku.wordpress.com/ and fill in the application form!

On the 31st of May ISHA-Helsinki is organising a take-away-picnic-park-tour. The idea is to meet up in Weber (New Student Union building, 3rd floor) at 4 pm., pick up some food from a Chinese restaurant, eat it in a park with some drinks and then hop from one park to another… Bring your own drinks and blankets!
