Miehuuden kriisi on ollut alkuvuoden puheenaiheita. Julkisessa keskustelussa on kannettu huolta erityisesti miesten kokemasta ulkopuolisuudesta parisuhteissa ja perheissä. Kuinka yksinpärjäävä ja riippuvuutensa kieltävä mies voi avautua tunteistaan Jumalalle, jos hän ei kykene siihen edes parisuhteessaan? Ei kenties ole sattumaa, että tutkimusten mukaan juuri miehet muodostavat enemmistön fundamentalistien ja ateistien joukossa.
