University of Helsinki Data Support challenges all UH researchers to participate in Data Cleaning Day on the 23th of May 2019!

During Data Cleaning Day researchers are urged to go through their data files and storages:

  • Clean up directories and folders.
  • Name files wisely.
  • Destroy unnecessary data.

Help in the above-mentioned issues can be found in the Guide for data documentation. Additionally, more cleaning tips has been gathered on the UH Wiki page How to organize data cleaning?

After cleaning, share with us how much space you created and what other organizing arrangements were done: datasupport@helsinki.fi.

All participants are involved in the prize draw for movie tickets. Furthermore, the best effort and the biggest amount of free space created by cleaning will be awarded!
