3.4 Utilising and evaluating information


One of the prerequisites for the ethical acceptability, reliability and credibility of research results is that the research has been carried out in accordance with commonly accepted principles and good scientific practice. During your studies, you will learn to use and assess research data and produce information. This chapter will introduce you to the terms of use and remote use of library e-resources, responsible science, source criticism, citation practices, copyright issues and other questions concerning the use and assessment of information.
