Slide shows shown with a computer are an excellent way to present information, as long as you take the time to plan your show carefully. Slide shows are supposed to support your presentation, and are created with slide-show programs. In this chapter, we will look at the following issues concerning such programs:
- compiling a slide show
- utilizing ready-made structures and style templates
- showing a slide show
- printing slides
In this course we will be using the PowerPoint slide-show program. The instructions can also be applied to other programs. Such an example is the OpenOffice Impress presentation program which is included in the free OpenOffice package (you can learn more about OpenOffice by reading the additional learning material).
